Free Compost and Mulch Giveaway
Bentonville, AR…The City of Bentonville’s Compost Facility is pleased to announce another compost and mulch giveaway. The giveaway will begin on Tuesday April 5th, 2016 and will continue, while the supply lasts, or until April 30th, 2016. Medium grade/ unscreened compost and wood mulch will be available during normal Compost Facility hours. The Facility is located at 2000 NW “A” Street and open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
A skid-steer loader and operator will be on site, available to load pick-ups and trailers. A wheel loader and operator will be available to load larger vehicles. A $20 loading fee will be charged for loading more than four (4) cubic yards at one time. Only vehicles 110 inches in height or less can be loaded with Compost Facility equipment (No tractor trailers please). Those wishing quantities less than ½ of a cubic yard, or without a pick-up or trailer, will need to bring their own containers and a shovel. The distribution shall be done on a first-come first-served basis. The Compost Facility staff asks that residents and patrons exercise patience and cooperation during peak periods.
