One of the region’s premier community events returns Saturday, September 23 – Sunday, October 1 for a week-long celebration of the unique spirit found only in Northwest Arkansas.
#NWAChampionship Week offers a wide variety of events and activities at affordable prices forthe whole community. They have plenty of activities for the kids as well!

5k @ the LPGA | Saturday, September 23 | 7:30 – 10am
The 5k race, benefiting the Mercy Health Foundation, returns on Saturday, September 23 at 7:30 a.m., kicking off #NWAChampionship Week. The race will begin and end at the Walmart AMP and will feature a new course route for 2023, to be announced later. There’s also a 1k Fun Run, especially for kids!
Following the race, participants and guests are invited to the post-race Community Celebration in the Walmart AMP’s Choctaw Plaza, featuring a vendor expo with fun local and national brands like Athleta, Java Dudes Coffee, Plomo Quesadilla, and more giving out lots of freebies! Yoga for Kids presented by Dove | Monday, September 25 | 4:30 – 5:30 pm
Kids ages 6 to 12 are invited to participate in a FREE beginner's yoga class. The class highlights how sports and exercise can help build confidence and self-esteem in children. In addition, an LPGA player will join along and share how yoga has impacted her golf game and other areas of her life. Role models and parents are invited to participate in the class as well. Klondike Kids Golf Zone | Sunday, October 1 | 2:00 – 5:00 pm
Are your children wanting to be a part of the action at the #NWAChampionship? Let them test their putting skills at the Klondike Kids Golf Zone on Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00pm at the 9th Hole Putting Green. Kids 17 and under are invited to compete in putting challenges with instruction from local First Tee coaches. All participants also receive a gift courtesy of Unilever and Klondike!

Walmart and P&G Kids Confidence Club (onsite Kid’s Center)
Learn More: New in 2023, the Kids Confidence Club will feature a variety of elements to enhance the experience for families – including a golf viewing patio overlooking Hole #16 and a fully air-conditioned space for parents and children to relax while at the tournament. The Walmart and P&G Confidence Club Confidence Club will once again feature of a variety of confidence-building experiences for children, with activities from the Scott Family Amazeum, First Tee of NW Arkansas and The Jones Center. Kids of all ages are encouraged to explore the areas of sports, play and STEAM in an engaging and interactive environment, free and open to the public Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 1.
Simmons Bank Kids Viewing Areas
Learn More: The Simmons Bank Kids Viewing Areas provide the tournament’s youngest fans an up-close view to the LPGA professionals, inspiring the next generation of golfers. Viewing Areas are located on Hole #9 Tee and Hole #17 Green. Areas will include giveaways, interactive coloring activities and more!
Autograph Alley sponsored by Delta Dental
Make plans to meet your favorite players after their round in the Autograph Alley presented by Delta Dental. Fan giveaways will be gifted to spectators to collect autographs, compliments of Delta Dental. Autograph Alley presented by Delta Dental is located on the back patio of the Pinnacle Country Clubhouse. Open from Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 1, to spectators of all ages!
