Best Friends Animal Society's Pet Resource Center is a community-focused center designed to bring pets and people together. Naturally, adoptable pets are the main attraction. Visitors can play with adoptable cats in the two free-roaming cat rooms, and meet adoptable dogs who are visiting from their foster homes for doggy day care. But there's more! The center also features a vegan café, do-it-yourself dog wash, pet food pantry, weekly free vaccine and microchip clinics, and a host of family-friendly programing and activities. You can drop in for some family crafting time, play kitten bingo, paint a pet portrait, learn to build outdoor cat shelters, bake dog treats, or even check out an adoptable dog for the day! The warm and welcoming atmosphere at the Pet Resource Center invites you to stay awhile. Drop by for a cup of coffee and visit the cats while you enjoy free wifi service. Want to get more involved in Best Friends’ life-saving mission? Sign up to volunteer at the center, or provide a foster home for a rescued dog or cat. Learn more at bestfriends.org/nwa.
