Description
The Children & Family Advocacy Center will host its annual Family Fun Festival & 5K, in partnership with the City of Rogers, on Friday, April 26, 2024. Starting at 5:00pm, the community is welcome to attend the festival, located at Frisco Park at the Railyard (downtown Rogers), featuring local vendors and activities for all ages. The evening event will include a 400-yard Hero Dash, 1-Mile Fun Run, and 5K: both runners and walkers are welcome. Registration is required for the run portions of the evening, but the festival itself is free and open to the public. For those interested in running, the fees are as follows: Hero Dash for children 12 and younger is free but requires pre-registration, the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk and 5K Run options are both $30 and require pre-registration. Registrants of the Fun Run and 5K will receive a t-shirt, goody bag, and all finishers will receive a medal. Festival activities include NWA Rolling Video Games, the Breyer’s Ice Cream Truck, a pre-race warm-up with SISU Performance, plus many other local vendors with giveaways, experiences, and so much more. The event runs from 5:00pm-9:00pm and will be held at Frisco Park at the Railyard. 400-yard Hero Dash begins at 6:00pm, 1-Mile Fun Run begins at 6:10pm, and 5K race begins at 6:15pm.
